Katie Kmet is a abstract landscape painter born in Dawson Creek British Columbia, Canada. She later moved to Victoria BC, where she graduated from The Visual Arts Program at Camosun College. There she received the Monday Magazine Art Award and the Jessie Allan Forsyth Memorial Scholarship. She now lives and Paints in Smithers BC.
